About BRIG.

Brig Gen AKM Iqbal Azim, ndc, psc, G+, PhD completed Masters in Business Administration with Major in Human Resources Management (Royal Roads University, Canada), Masters in Defense Studies (National University), Masters in Science Technical (National University) including PhD with fellowship from Institute of Bangladesh Studies (IBS), Rajshahi University (RU). He was the Commandant of Artillery Centre and School and Brigade Commander of Artillery brigade and Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) in Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), 29th public university of Bangladesh. He completed PhD with fellowship in 2015 from Institute of Bangladesh Studies (IBS), Rajshahi University. He secured 1st position in doctoral fellowship entrance exam and completed doctoral course work securing 3rd position. He completed MBA from Royal Roads University (RRU), British Columbia (BC), Canada securing CGPA 4 out of 4 (1st Position). He served in different academic, administrative and operational capacities of Army including Operation officer in Infantry Division, Brigade Major in CHT, pioneer Colonel Staff of Military Intelligence Directorate (AHQ). He participated in United Nation peacekeeping operation as operational officer in UNMIH (Haiti) and as Senior Military Intelligence Officer in UNOMIG (Georgia). He served over 3 years as the Principal of Rajshahi Cadet College. He was selected as the key note speaker in Security Dialogue Forum, New Delhi, India in 2019. He competently supervised over thirty PhD and M Phil research works both in BUP and NDC. He has published book on his doctoral research named, 'Neo Service Marketing Strategy for Quality Education' in 2020 which is being taught in different universities/colleges.
